2026 ASPT Asa Gray Award

The Society bestows the Asa Gray Award upon an individual for outstanding accomplishments pertinent to the goals of the Society. The awardee need not be a member of the Society. The awardee shall be recognized at the Society’s annual banquet and in the journal Systematic Botany.

ASPT members are encouraged to submit nominations for the Asa Gray Award, which will be presented at the Annual Meeting. Nomination materials shoud be submitted as a single PDF and include (1) a letter of nomination, (2) a curriculum vitae for the nominee, and (3) up to five (5) supporting letters from others familiar with the nominee and their career.
